Giveaway: 3 Ninja Star Coat Hooks from Spinning Hat

About Spinning Hat

Spinning Hat is a London (UK) based, creative design company, and you can check out their blog here.

They invent fun product concepts and make them come to life for the consumer market.

Spinning Hat is well known for producing innovative men’s gifts, but they also work in other consumer product areas and design exclusive product ranges as well.

How they started

Spinning Hat started out in 2004, when Jon and Damon launched the world’s first counting bottle opener.

We then started pulling together more and more fun gifts over the following couple of years.

As our design team grew, so did our appetite for creating more and more cutting edge products.

Our design team is based in the UK, and we manufacture our products all over the world from the UK, to India and the Far East.

Our expertise in industrial manufacturing of consumer products allows us to offer services to businesses to help them transform their ideas into reality.

We also offer bespoke design services to create product ranges to retailer’s design briefs.

A few of their designs I find interesting:

SIM Notebook: Collecting data the old fashioned way ;)

Recycled Vinyl Bowl: Doing your part for the environment.

Money Maze Box: Forces you to save by locking your money in until you solve the puzzle

So what’s it all mean to you?

Spinning Hat has kindly offered to give away not just one, but THREE Ninja Star Coat Hooks to one lucky reader!

They retail for $7.99 each, and as their site says:

Fed up with the flat packed, MDF birch veneer finished world we live in ?

If so, then stop accessorising your home with uninspired IKEA functionality and put some punch back into your place with our Ninja Coat Hooks.

The Ninja Coat Hooks will transform your hallway into the scene of a Shanghai back street stand-off.

Each metal Ninja Coat Hook has one corner cleverly engineered into a screw, which allows you to fix securely to your wall or door, whilst making it look like it has been hurled from the hands of a deadly Ninjitsu assassin.

You will certainly cause a stir with your guests as they go to hang up their coats; as each of our Ninja Coat Hooks has been designed to look like the real thing, right down to the razor sharp looking edges – which are of course nice, smooth, coat friendly hanging points – but you don’t need to inform your guests of this fact.

So stir up fond memories of Big Trouble in Little China and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and add some cutting edge deadly design to your home.

You know you want them!

The Rules:

OPEN WORLDWIDE!!!!!!!!

(Thank goodness)

Contest runs until February 28th 2010

I need these for my brother-in-law. He is the HARDEST person to buy for, and these may be one of the most perfect gifts he'd ever get.

Okay so I need these ninja star coat hooks because my husband is obsessed with ninjas and I think it'd be funny to install these while he's out of the house one day and then when he comes back I can tell him we were attacked by ninjas but I fought them off all by myself. :D

So that I can sneak these up to the Man's place and install them secretly in the middle of the night and super piss him off that I've put ninja stars in his (brand new) walls. I'll even hang stuff on it so it doesn't register at first. I already can't stop giggling. Why else?

I need them so I can freak out our property manager.

He's a totally skeevy guy who tries to run both a property management company and a real estate business at the same time. We just got a creepy letter from him suggesting that we move out of our place and buy a house using him as the agent…

I bet you 3 ninja-star coat hooks the owner he's property managing for doesn't know what he's up to.

He has started wearing a black balaclava on the cold walk to work and I tease him all the time that he looks like a ninja! These would be the perfect thing to hang his ninja gear on :)

Ok I actually DON'T need them.

But my husband would lose his mind over them, therefore they would definitely suit his 'man cave' aka the basement.

My bf and I are complete gamers. Our entire basement is dedicated to games with rock band gear everywhere, not one but two (soon 3!) arcade sticks for fighting games, a PS3 AND a Wii AND a DS AND a PSP. Plus he gets free posters from the video game store all the time. These would just complete the whole look :)

I subscribed to the rss feed, although just in firefox and nothing fancy like google reader. I'd blog about it too but … I don't have a blog. -shrug- I just tweeted about it also!

I do actually need coat hoots. I have hoodies strewn all over my room that I wear on a daily or near daily basis. I don't want to put them in the closet because the hoodies go in the back and it's too much work, but I keep getting yelled at/annoyed for/by the piles of jackets.

Also, wouldn't it just be awesome if someone in the room was pissing you off if you could just give them the vil eye and start to reach for a ninja star embedded in the wall!?
