Then as if by chance, I found this Lemon Garlic Chicken Recipe..
YUMMM!!!!!
And it sounds VERY easy.
Lemon Garlic Chicken
Ingredients:
1 package of chicken thighs & drumsticks (4 thighs & 4 drumsticks)
3 lemons
15 cloves of garlic, peeled (See: How to Peel Garlic Quickly and Easily)
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a bowl, add the chicken pieces. Slice the lemons in half and juice them. Add the juice and the lemon rinds to the bowl, along with the garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme. Mix well with your hands, then dump this all in a large baking dish.
Put the dish in the oven and bake the chicken for 30 to 40 minutes, basting every 10 minutes. When the skin gets crispy and the meat is cooked through, it is done.

A Dandelion Lamp you blow out…
It’s so pretty.
Anyone want some iPhone bedding?
Is anyone here addicted enough to buy this?
A shipping container HOME
This is pretty cool.
Mom was right: Don’t watch too much TV
Couch potatoes, beware. Sitting in front of the television for hours daily could shorten your life, according to an Australian study.
“Even if someone has a healthy body weight, sitting for long periods of time still has an unhealthy influence on their blood sugar and blood fats,” he said.
“In addition to doing regular exercise, avoid sitting for prolonged periods and keep in mind to ‘move more, more often’. Too much sitting is bad for health.”
A dual-screen notebook?
FINALLY.
Looks promising and very cool.

Apparently, running shoes are worse for you than high heels.

Out here in the non-Tarahumara world, where we have access to the best in sports medicine, training innovations and footwear, up to 90 per cent of all marathoners are injured every year.
The Tarahumara, by contrast, remain spry and healthy deep into old age. I saw numerous men and women in their seventies loping up steep, cliffside switchbacks on their way to villages 30 miles away.
Back in 1994, a Tarahumara man ventured out of the canyons to compete against an elite field of runners at the Leadville Trail Ultramarathon, a 100-mile race through the Rocky Mountains.
He wore homemade sandals. He was 55 years old. He won.
When the Tarahumara aren’t barefoot, they wear nothing more cushioned than thin, hard sandals fashioned from discarded tire treads and leather thongs.

In place of artificial shock absorption, they rely on an ancient running technique that creates a naturally gentle landing.
Unlike the vast majority of modern runners, who come down heavily on their foam-covered heels and roll forward off their toes, the Tarahumara land lightly on their forefeet and bend their knees, as you would if you jumped from a chair.
“Remarkably, the effect of running shoes on knee joint torques,” the lead researcher said, “is even greater than the effect that was reported earlier of high-heeled shoes during walking.”
They even did the study with the Vibram Fivefingers, and the student runners changed their running style almost immediately if they were barefoot or in the shoes.

FYI: What is Google Reader Shared Items?
It is simply an RSS Feed of all the articles I like on the web, just like subscribing to my RSS Feed here on this blog, or in a way, what StumbleUpon is.
It shares all the articles I think is cool or interesting, from the tons of blogs I follow on a daily basis.
It is open to everyone, and available on any software or platform that you can add an RSS Feed to, and it doesn’t exclude anyone or anything.
If you are new to “RSS Feeds” in general, check out Google (RSS) Reader where you can add all the RSS Feeds of all your favourite blogs so that you NEVER miss a post!

Wow, she is amazing, but oy!! I can barely stand to watch stuff like that. In fact, I can't watch anything with contortionists. I know it isn't painful to them, but it makes my bones and muscles hurt just watching it.
I owe you an email on the design stuff – will get to it today.

We picked zillions of lemons because of our record low temps. I wish we could send you some for that chicken recipe. In fact, I'm going to try it! (And I'd love to try those shoes at the end)

I want the lamp, the tiles (note to self when remodeling) and the scale!!
…and I really don't know if I want to run almost barefoot through the Ohio snow. I mean, I'd probably lose my toes to frostbite. Maybe I should resort to running in Uggs….

Well, I'm sure if you tried to run in heels they would still be worse than running shoes, but yeah, running shoes are evil. I love my Vibram Five Fingers
And the book to read for all those interested in the Tarahumara, barefoot running, endurance running, or just why they feel like they can't run, is Born to Run. Great book!

Funny you should mention dual screen notebooks. I found one last night. Check out the Lenovo W700DS. It has a 17" primary display and a slide (or pull) out 10.6" vertical display.

How about Vibram 5fingers?

I second FB on the Vibrams. I use them here in FL because the pavement gets really hot and a lot of our neighbors have dogs. I don't know about through snow, but you can get toe socks for them to add a bit more warmth. I wear them with Injinji socks when it's cold out. And I think some of the newer models of Vibrams are made to be a bit thicker for more extreme terrain.

Ack! I was just looking for lemon garlic chicken recipes! <3
And the J just got his brother the Vibram five fingers for Christmas, I'm wondering how he likes them. I used to go running in flipflops but lately, landing on the balls of my feet like I usually do (I don't do heel-toe in flippies) sends a horrific shock up across the top of my foot. I wonder if something's wrong with my foot or the flips.
