i have been a subscriber / google reader-er for a few months now. while i typically follow running blogs, i also have a number of finance-related blogs in my reader – including yours. i have been traveling for work for the past 9 months – spending many, many nights in a hotel! not only do i have similar fears about hotel bedding, but i also have a number of food/environmental allergies. this sounds like a must-have for me! thanks for hosting the giveaway – hope i win

I can definitely use one! I'm actually at a hotel right now….I had knee surgery and I'm recovering here (my apartment is on the second floor w/ no elevators). Obviously, I'll be done recovering by the time I win (*fingers crossed), but it could still be useful in the future!

ohmygosh, i neeeeeed this thing! I have never even heard of it before!
You would think, that since my traveling accommodations are always at friend’s houses rather than hotels, that my sleeping situation would be clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, that is not the case. And it was not until I brought bed bugs back home with me from London after staying in my friend’s flat for a few days, that she informed me “oh yeah, I have been noticing some bites.”
I am a super light packer so I never want to take up precious suitcase space with sheets and pillows and basically my entire bed! An Allersac would be so extremely useful for my travels! Actually, I’m thinking that even if I don’t win one here, I might just ask for one for Christmas (but I’d still like to win!)

I'm an RSS subscriber, for almost a year now, woohoo…. can't miss your posts (and I really mean that, not just for the giveaway lol)
I was intrigued when you first blogged about this sac and I had nooo idea how bad hotels were. Gross. So, I would be grateful to win this to take it with me to NYC! I'm planning on going for the 10th anniversary of 9/11, and if I can't book a nicer hotel then I'll be something cheaper and likely not as clean!
My husband and I could totally use this for when we start traveling a bit more in the next year as well – and we love camping!

I need an Allersac because I love to travel. And the last time I went to Europe, I stayed in hostels and all I had was a sad looking DIY-homesewn sleep sac. Since then, my Mom has torn out my threading as she demanded her bedsheet back. I no longer even have the DIY sleep sac.

Hello!
I would love to win one of your Allersacs. I was interested after reading your first post back in September but I deemed it too expensive a present for myself. I am lucky enough to have wonderful friends that let me sleep on their air mattresses when I am in town, and bringing my own bedding would make my visit that much easier on them.
Thanks for the entry!

I want this! I didn't win it last time you had a giveaway! I want it for traveling, as you suggested. It looks really comfortable. I also think it would work to bring on a hot summer camping trip rather than a sleeping bag…
PS – for those who don't win, you can make something similar very very easily by sewing 2.5 sides of any sheet up. T's mom did it for him when he came and visited me when I was abroad.

Wow, look at all the people come out of the woodwork!!!
I totally need this Alersac FB. I've had massive allergies for my whole life, starting with allergic reactions that lead to asthma when I was a kid. I've sinced rid myself of asthma, but I'm hyper allergic to dust mites, dander, cats, etc.
Living on the east coast was the worst with the pollen. Now that I'm in San Francisco, it's gotten much MUCH better due to the natural air filter of the Bay. That said, the house contains plenty of allergens which I need to protect myself and my wife from who also suffers from allergies.
What a great idea! Hope I win, but congrats to those who do!
Best,
Sam

Just found your web site today and started following! (Before I saw this post even, what a bonus for me!!) I’m very allergic to perfumes so it is difficult for me to sleep anywhere besides my own bed since so many people/hotels wash their sheets with scented detergents. Either would be great

Hello FB! I subscribe to your blog by RSS feed, and I would *love* to score an allersac! Hopefully the King-size, since my husband & I have been saving up for 2 years to go on a European Honeymoon- and at last we will have enough airmiles to book the tickets in the New Year! We will be visiting 5 different countries, a week each, staying in some hotels & apartments, and some friends houses. You just never know what sort of accommodations you’re going to get, so I have been intrigued by the Allersac since you did the review a few months back. Free would help the budget! But if I don’t win, we should probably find a way to pick one up anyways.
Cheers!
