Why don’t retailers make shoes like this with a shorter heel?

Don’t they know that the majority of women out there can’t teeter and totter on 3″+ heels without falling!??!

Saw these beauties while I was trolling up and down Ste-Catherine.

BUKALA RED HEELS

The red is more ruby red in person. Less washed out.

They almost made it home with me (I was THISCLOSE to buying them), until I realized:

  • Where the hell would I wear them? Work? In 3″ heels? ARE YOU MAD, FB?
  • Where could I only stand & sit in them? :P I can barely walk in these, as they are really at the maximum limit of my powers.
  • Why do they cost $135? *sigh* I can’t spend that kind of money on decorative shoes :P

JHILL GUESS HEELS (Zippered back!!!)

Same with these ones.  They almost made it home on my feet, until I said:

“Nah.. I can’t really see a purpose in buying them, and the L.A.M.B. version was MUCH hotter with the zip at the back.”

Why? Because they were so very L.A.M.B. a la Dichen Lachman from Dollhouse

In case you’re wondering, the shoes are by Gwen Stefani, called “Tammy” for $190 (ON SALE) available at Zappos.com in sizes 5.5 or 9.5 only.

You’re (sort of) welcome. :P

I know what you mean! Those heels are super cute, but I could never wear those. I can pull off a three-inch heel in a boot, but those are so skinny, there’s no way I could do it in a normal heel.

Chinese Laundry has a nicer knock-off of the Lamb’s ala Dichen… I wish they were in black though because I bet I could wear a 9.5….

But they have a platform! So they’ll be comfy to walk in :) My minimum for work is 3 inches. Anything lower, and i’d have to get all my pants hemmed (which I find really annoying). Ideally i’d like to wear flats to work every day, but some of my work pants just don’t look good with flats. I end up looking short and stout. Even though i’m 1.69 cm. Just have short legs I guess!

Yeah… shoes are sooo gorgeous but if you don’t have anywhere to wear them then what’s the point!

    Sigh.

Love the GS shoes. If you have a Off Broadway Shoes in your area. Check their store they have those same red suede pumps for $59 dollars (real leather too).
