Missed Connections

missedconnectionsny.blogspot.com

A beautiful blog.

Missed Connections are posts by people (men or women) on Craig’s List who regret not having said anything about seeing someone beautiful, kind or interesting, and they post their Missed Connections on Craig’s List, in a vain hope that the girl or guy will read it and respond.
Sweet, but kind of an unreliable way of contacting someone.
Anyway, this blog takes those messages and makes them into beautifully hand drawn images depicting the message. Read Blue Dress on the M Train, to get an idea of her artwork.

I love looking at mix and match pictures of outfits.

Enough said.

I just like her. A lot.

I love her stories, she lives in Toronto and she’s genuinely funny & real.

Her focus isn’t 100% on finance, but more along the lines of personal stories in finance, which is what I am most interested in anyway.

Sophisticated Adventure

A personal blog that’s just another one I like to read.

I live vicariously through her shopping and thrifting, and I liked the 8-week Whip-It-Up Series she did, detailing 8 recipes.

I know the challenge is long over, but I hope in the future she’ll keep posting her recipes.

Win 2 tickets to Hansel & Gretel playing at The Metropolitan Opera!
