No kidding, I had no idea! Good for them.

I'm still a Starbucks girl. Even Timothy's or Second Cup is a no go for me.

I will say that William's (another coffee chain) has some KILLER food.

Actually Tim Horton's is now shifting their corporate ownership back to Canada.

Personally, I prefer to buy good fair trade organic beans and make my own coffee, though if I must buy a cup of coffee I'll pick Timothy's, Starbucks or Second Cup. I'd rather remain caffeine deprived than drink Tim Horton's. :P

I can't drink any of them! Coffee just makes me so sick.

It's ironic that Tim Horton's is actually American now :)

I'm a Starbucks girl, tried and true.

Haha. Tim Horton's is not known for being a place you go for a cappucino. Or a good coffee. I find them to be pretty much on par with McDonald's for coffee. Actually, McDonald's might even win that one. Scary. But they remain mysteriously popular, like a symbol of Canadianness, right along with hockey and Molson beer. Sigh.

Oh good!

You got the same issue as me then. It wasn't moist enough, and I felt like I overbaked :\

Marbled raspberry jam with lemon juice sounds heavenly. I want to search for more poundcakes and try different recipes until I found the perfect one

Freezing one sounds like a fab idea!!! And I suppose the yoghurt is why it isn't as "moist" as it subs in for buttah :D

I grew up in Canada, but their food and drinks.. are too sweet, too creamy and not complex enough for me if that makes sense.

Their apple cider for example (I don't drink coffee at all), tastes too sweet. Nothing like REAL apple cider..
