Hi all! IntenseDebate and Social are installed now.

Some blog changes I want to bring to your attention.

Want a picture beside your name?

Go grab a picture you want to use, and sign up for a universally used ID at Gravatar!

It will become a globally recognized pic associated with your email address on almost any kind of blogging platform.
Super easy to do and sign up for. 2 minutes. Max.

Intense Debate WP Plugin Installed

IntenseDebate

Don’t get scared off by the name.

I don’t expect ANYONE to ‘debate’ with each other, but it’s just a way for you to:

  • reply to other readers easily
  • and get to know each other better
  • get replies specifically to YOUR comment emailed to you
  • email back replies
  • tweet your comments
  • bla bla bla

I think it’s awesome.

Social WP Plugin Installed

SocialPlugin

Now you can tweet, email, PDF and do all those other social bookmarking doohickeys you do to my posts.

Here on the site, or in my RSS Feed.

Enjoy!

Oooh these are great! Do you mind if I lift them for my own blog? I've been searching for plugins to do just this but haven't found any great ones just yet!

I want a Gravatar soooo bad, but it won't let me have any of the possible usernames I would want. Sad.

Nice additions! Once I get more experience with blogging, I'll have to try some of those cool tools :)

    thx!

But your user name can be changed to anything you want I think. It might just be a sign in name?

The gravatar relates to as many email addresses as you want so it doesn't matter what the username for the site is. You just need to choose an email address and depending on it your gravatar will show.

I decided to try the gravatar site you suggested, I'm such a noob… Now I have a custom avatar that travels with me… too sweet!

    You rule, thanks!
