I also see that J. Crew has a sale on winter coats (around 30% off), which means I could pick up that ideal Lady Double Day Cloth coat with Thinsulate for $238 USD in either spiced wine or cobalt blue…

But I really loathe buying things online (especially at $238 USD a pop) when I haven’t tried them on in person to check the quality, actual colour and fit.

*sigh* I’m going to do some laundry and mull this one over.

I have the cobalt blue coat! I got it a few weeks ago… before it went on sale. sigh. It looks like my size is sold out though, so maybe it was good I snagged it when I did?

I have the 6… it’s a little snug on me, but I’m hoping it’ll inspire me to lose weight. :p Let me know if I can help in some way… with measurements or somesuch.

Just thought i’d add- just went shopping at target and found beautiful trench coats there and was eyeing them because of you and all your coat-talk! It was a rich purple peacoat style but too light for you and too heavy for me! So I fought the urge, even though I still want it and it was only $40.

I love that coat, especially in the spiced wine color. Can you get free shipping to you at least? Or is there a store around that you could return it to? The coat is gorgeous.
