"Anything from the 80s, or t-shirts with excessive beer logos or random cutesy pictures is not acceptable for sale." 80s stuff is now "vintage" and some brands and styles fetch big prices

"It might help to tell people if you are located in Austria or Canada. It matters to some people. Don’t ask me why." --> because people like to glance at that information so they can gauge shipping costs, times, Customs issues

"The most inexpensive way in my 9 years of selling things on eBay is" --> to print out the postage on-line

"lousy buyers in Ottawa who ran a boutique and *rolls eyes* told me that my item looked used" --> nine years on eBay and this was a surprise? The rules are very strict about stuff listed as "new" having to be "new," and shop-worn stuff...yeah, it sounds like you listed it wrong.

Inspiring story. I'm in awe that a fashion student came and bought the rest of your clothes for $500! I suppose it's always worth it to try Ebay before donating stuff. I'll try this out for my wardrobe purge: though my stuff won't all fit into 5 huge trash bags and I might only be able to attempt selling it for $25 :)

Excellent tips, I shall use them. Re-selling is exhausting work!
My recent post <a href="http://www.thriftcore.com/2010/11/real-deal-thrift-blogs-youll-love.html" rel="nofollow">Real Deal- Thrift Blogs Youll Love</a>
