August 2009: Blog Feature

COMMENTS: Leave me a comment

FB Reminder: I am away on vacation right now. This post has been scheduled ahead of time.
I won’t be moderating comments until end of August 2009. Thanks for your patience!

Piggy’s Blog – Journey of Success
www.piggysblog.com

A very introspective, Zen-like blog that asks questions like perceiving duality in life – seeing the good and bad. These posts are refreshing because I stop and spend time thinking about my life related to what Kin writes.

Dog Ate My Finances
www.dogatemyfinances.com

I adore this woman. She fights hard, picks herself up when she’s down and makes it work, all with a bit of much needed snark.

Her posts always generate heated debates, or strong, intense emotions, and love her, or hate her, she has an opinion, and it’s something that is sometimes sorely lacking in the blogosphere.

[The Customer is] Not Always Right

notalwaysright.com

As it says. It is freaking HILARIOUS. I love this site.

And it’s not always about mean or stupid customers, check out this quote below:

(I’m helping out a backup cashier as he checks a customer out.)

Me: “Corn is 4078.”

Coworker: “Thanks!” *punches it in* “What are the melons?”

Me: “4050.”

Coworker: “Thanks!” *punches it in* “What’s watermelon?”

Me: “4032.”

Customer: “What’s the winning lottery numbers?”

Me: “If I knew that, I wouldn’t be working here!”

Customer: “It was worth a shot.”

Punch Debt in the Face

I love refreshing PF blogs. Just like how I am in LOVE with Dog’s blog, I just recently found this one called Punch Debt in the Face (catchy huh?).

While he doesn’t talk much about how to get out of debt and all those boring (to us) posts, I like the irreverent style of writing and that it seems relate-able. Something I try to do on MY blog, because I also write the way I’d speak in real life.

An instant favourite. Trust.

My Milk Toof
mymilktoof.blogspot.com

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything this cute in a LONG TIME.

It’s a short stop picture story of two little milk toofs (ickle and Lardee).. and this particular post caught my attention – The Toof Cleaning.

Don’t wanna.

Excuse me while I go and devour their archives (not many posts, won’t take long)
