I did the baking powder/vinegar thing for over a year, then switched back to shampoo when I had trouble finding baking powder, but now I'm going to experiment with using just water.

However, one thing I'm surprised you didn't mention, is bras. I was raised to believe in the whole "not wearing a bra is terrible for your breasts" load of baloney, and my jaw dropped when I learned the truth. Now I'm glad I don't have to ever spend money on that particular clothing item, although I do still like lacy undergarmets, and flashy Victoria's Secret bags . . .
