i dont mind most of what you said, but kitten heels are a pet peeve of mine. Especially the kitten heels you recommended.. they look like what 50 year old women wear to play organ ( which is totally fine if you are 50 years old.) But since you used vanessa hudgens as a fashion “Yes”- Im going to assume you are directing this at a younger audience. The exception to ugly kitten heels is the kitten-height sized wedge. A wedge somehow makes the odd height look like less of a grandma shoe.

Thank you for the information! I’m 4’11 and almost 30. Thankfully most of the women in my family have similar issues, but I’m super skinny too, so it doesn’t help much in terms of looking older. I agree about the capris, and tayloring. I can’t afford it, but I will try to start doing that! I’m happy to be me, but a lot of people are ignorant about short people in terms of age, intelligence, and being able to look like a sophisticated woman. We shouldn’t have to shop in the pre-teen section when we’ve got a totally different lifestyle to lead. Thanks again.

The tips are good, but I don't know what the big deal is about height. Short women are everywhere, and many of them are confident enough to wear flats. You never once mentioned wearing flats, like it's simply unheard of for a short girl to not have heels on. Beauty does not have to be looking like a six foot tall, anorexic model.

I loved the part about the oversized accessories. I see way too many girls trying to rock huge Louis Vuitton bags that weigh more than them. I’m very small, probably 5′ or less, so this was a cool post. =)

I’m 5’1″ and wear size 0/2, so I am learning to master the petite world of clothing!

My only advice to add would be: Ann Taylor Loft Petites!!

They have the BEST clothes for small women. (Plus! Impeccable style, usually.)
