How much is your face worth?

Rae and Ginger did this and I found it to be an interesting exercise.

I am not actually using the whole bottle each and every day, but for the sake of simplicity, let’s not get into the dollars and cents of how many uses I get out of one lip balm and so on.

On normal days (like.. everyday, 90% of the time)

PREP: $42.89

  • Neutrogena Foaming Facial Cleanser: $7.99
  • Paula’s Choice Refreshing Toner: $15.95* (50% of the time, I forget)
  • Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Moisture Gel: $18.95

LIPS: $1.99

  • Labello Hydrocare Lip Balm: $1.99

Total: $44.88 x 13% tax = $50.71

On makeup-y days (normally when I go to weddings or visit Toronto) (10% of the year)

For real, I have some ghetto makeup in there like Bonne Bell and Annabelle. Rae doesn’t even believe that I wear that stuff when I have a Sephora so readily available to me!

PREP:
$42.89

  • Neutrogena Foaming Facial Cleanser: $7.99
  • Paula’s Choice Refreshing Toner: $15.95* (50% of the time, I forget)
  • Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Moisture Gel: $18.95

EYES: $9.97

  • Bonne Bell Eyeliner: $1.99
  • Bonne Bell Eyebrow Pencil: $1.99
  • Maybelline Lash Volume Mascara: Free! (I *heart* swag)
  • Annabelle Eyeshadow: $5.99

FACE: $63

  • Makeup Forever Concealer: $26
  • Bare Escentuals Foundation: $18
  • Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil: $19

CHEEKS: $24

  • Cargo Molokai Blush: $24

LIPS: $15.99

  • Labello Hydrocare Lip Balm: $1.99
  • Lip Gloss: $14

MAKEUP REMOVER: $6.99

  • Nivea Makeup remover: $6.99

Total: $162.84 x 13% tax = $184

Wow! Good thing I don’t do the full makeup every day so it lasts a lot longer than if I were to wear it everyday.

I can barely bring myself to wear concealer and eyeliner when I go to work.

So, what is your daily face worth?
