Ok everyone, quick update!

I joined PayPerPost.. err..this blog is joining PPP that is. I’m going to definitely tell everyone which posts are sponsored when I do write them but I promise not to sign up for anything I personally wouldn’t recommend (like I’ve been doing for the past what, 2 years? I’ve been filtering emails being sent to me about ads, etc)

So this post actually IS sponsored, but by my get paid to blog at PPP, and they just want me to spread the word about PPP, which is pretty easy considering I think it’s an interesting idea. I just have to figure out how to use it and get the damn opportunities.

DISCLOSURE POLICY

This policy is valid from 04 April 2009

This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation.

Why did I join? And what am I gonna do with my PPP million$? (LOL)

I joined because I heard lots of good things about it and people actually making money! And what I like best (so far) about PPP is being able to easily see which opportunities are available for me to blog about.

But the reason why I joined PPP is because I want to make more cash (which is the goal of.. most.. sponsored-post-writing-bloggers), but what am I gonna do with all the cash?

SEND IT ALL TO DEBT

..of course, of course.

This entire blog is all about personal finance, my debt, and with some enabling going on with shopping, personal style.. actually, a bit of everything. But the main two themes are: Personal Finance + Fashion.

I can’t even really classify my blog.

Over the past 2 years, I’ve been writing about:

- Personal Finance
- Fashion (Haute couture and Regular Designers and Mass Merchandisers)
- Personal Style
- Career Advice
- Women’s Issues
- Snarky Reflections/Rants
- Things I love and hate
- My personal life
- Reviews on products
- Recipes
- Frugality
- Shopping (online and offline)
- Celebrities
- Organization in the Home (like the closet, my favourite subject)
- Funny things I’ve found
- Relationships between Men and Women
- Lots of SATC (Sex and the City)

…. The list goes on.

How can I even possibly classify what I write about? It spans everything!

“Life + Finance Blog” maybe?

But what I do know, is I’ll be able to write about a ton of opportunities on PPP if I can just figure out how to get those opportunities open to me so I can begin :\

So this is a great opportunity for PPP Advertisers because I can write about almost anything.. so GIVE ME A CHANCE DAMN IT :)

Ahh, welcome to the world of paid blogging, FB!

The only problem with PPP is that it’s ridiculously hard to actually GET the opps. THe first one is no problem, but after that you’ll probably find that they’re all taken before you even know they’re available! :S

Maybe one of us will find the magical way of getting some more, I’ve been trying for a while now!

    Good luck!

I’m finally caving and joining the world of PPP …. but if YOU’re having trouble getting opps, I’m a little hesitant to have any expectations for it myself.

OK…My blog was approved and I was putting in my entry to the opp, but some how the system keeps telling me error when I put in all of the damn links and stuff. I have done it at least four time already. What am I doing wrong??

    Beautiful: Couple of ideas..
    - You’re probably missing out on some sort of link that is provided in the opportunity (either by PPP or by the actual client) It’s like a weird vfmxl kind of looking link – it’s so PPP can find the link and your post

    - Read each opp carefully. Some want you to put in like 5 links , but they don’t give you the actual links you gotta find them yourself from the site they give you

    - You have to post it within 6 hours of when you reserve the oppty

    - Sometimes they want you to put a disclosure badge (or sometimes not)

The emails should tell you exactly why you’re missing the posts
