Fabulously Broke in the City

I’m obsessed!

About rainboots… I’m posting a couple of really cute ones from Nordstrom. $60 – $70seems a bit pricey to pay for a rainboot, but then again, I’ve never bought them before, and I don’t really know anything about quality and how long they last, bla bla bla.

Whatever, they’re cute. :)

A nice English punk rocker chic kind of style.

Cute blue whales. Kind of too kiddy for me, but I still find them cute.

I thought they were snowboots at first, but they’re kind of cute with the pattern!

Skulls and bones. Kind of goes with the first English punk rocker one.

The peacock print is kind of cute. I thought they were germs or amoebas at first, but they’re much nicer than that.

These are the ones I’d probably buy. I like the stripes, the colours, and how muted they are so they aren’t too childish.

I adore these ones too, because of the tweed tie at the top but the wedge heel at the back is too much for me. These ones are $100…

Red and black plaid. V. English..

I love the stripes! I have to admit that I have a small obsession with the whales too…

They are adorable, but there are some just as cute at Target for $19.99! They have stripes, plaid, fleur de lis and so many other cute patterns. They may not last as long as the designer version, but hey…we are broke in the city : )

You have picked some really cute ones! I love rain boots too – in Vancouver – you ALWAYS need them. They are so comfy too – sometimes I wear them out even if it’s not raining :)

I agree with you on the boots with the muted stripes being the best purchase. They are cute. If I lived in a city that required such boots, I’d buy them in a heartbeat.
