Fabulously Broke in the City

Today was a disappointing but fantastic day

So.. I’m sorry ladies, but I went to the Canada Post counter and was uber excited to be filling out everything to send the perfumes to y’all in the States.. but the lady told me that I cannot send any perfumes, liquids, or anything the U.S. considers to be a ‘hazardous material’ unless I pay for a special service to do it. And it wouldn’t be Canada Post – they refuse to handle that stuff now.

No lotions, NUTTIN’!

:( So I can’t send any perfumes that anyone wanted, etc…

The good news though, is because of that awful (yet terribly wonderful) snowstorm, I managed to do 3 of the hardest tasks in the world, in a couple of hours.

I went to the Passport Office to get my Canadian passport, and I was the second person in line!!!!! At 10 a.m.!!!!!!! The snow kept everyone away. And I’ll get my passport in 2 weeks time. I was so amazed..

Then I went to a walk-in clinic to stock up baby-proofing pills, and I was the second person in line. AGAIN. And this time, the doctor took only 10 minutes and I was in and out of there in a flash.

Lastly, I went to the dentist, and even though I wasn’t the second person in line, it was a last minute appointment because I’m leaving on Wednesday, and my appointment was for Thursday.. so I squeezed it in, but had a meeting at noon. Luckily the dentist was super nice/understanding and took care of my teeth first and did it super efficiently (I told him to do a hack job just to get rid of the major plaque until I came back to see him for real later), and I made it in time to see my friend for lunch.

All of this in a space of 2 hours!!!

2 Hours

I’m never going to be able to beat this record.. I should buy a lottery ticket LOL
