SugarDaddy Shop

Haven’t really been a solid fan of the name of this shop (Sugar Daddy Shop? C’mon now), but they really do have beautiful pieces.

Especially ones by my favourite designer duo: TASHI..

Selling at $36 and modern enough not to look too cheesy to be tulips unless you look closely.

I like the simplicity of the hammered circle.. they have matching earrings

And leaves of course :)

And here are a couple of others from designer Mimi & Marge but I find them a TAD bit out of my price range … :\… I mean $79 for that?.. Erg… Plus tax. I still find them beautiful however…

All from SugarDaddy Shop.

There She Goes….

Here’s a great online boutique I found… I’m going through all of their things and here are the couple of items I think look pretty awesome.

There’s something oddly appealing about this canvas bag. I never would’ve imagined canvas to be a great material for a bag (seems too backpack-y and outdoors-y for me) but it works in this case to be feminine while not being too prim and proper.

I think the bow and the studs on the strap is what does me in.

Oh and it’s been sold for $129. Must be a one of a kind thing.

I adore the quirkiness of having the pearls on the right-hand side but not balanced out in the left.

It’s on sale for $26!

Of course, the earrings to match at $13. I love how they’re drop chains…

These are hand-made, blank note individually stitched cards. Really simple and elegant, and not mass made.. but I just like the simplicity and the price tag at $12 for 10!

Found 2 reasonable portable scanners

I’m debating between these two…

The NeatReceipts Scanner V. 3.0. is $229.95 on their Corporate site and $176.47 on the Amazon.com site. It seems to only scan in receipts properly and it throws it into Quicken. That’s not really what I want it for..

So I found the Pentax DSmobile 600 Scanner for $118.99 on Amazon.com (but I cannot buy it because I’m Canadian)… so it’s $140 on their Corporate site or on Expansys.ca (what a ripoff)…

Has anyone tried either scanner? These prices are WAY more reasonable than the $400 the Docupen wanted, and as M. pointed out in the comments, there seems to be a general sense of dissatisfaction with the product.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and all North American women

… ok seriously?

Living Almost Large (thanks!!) sent me this link, and I just HAD to post about it.

“She was the inspiration behind former boyfriend John Mayer’s hit ‘Your Body Is A Wonderland,’ but not even a famous muse like Jennifer Love Hewitt can escape a little weight gain.

A combination of harsh sunlight and a skimpy bikini left the newly buxom star with nowhere to hide as she hit the beach for a swim during a Hawaiian getaway.

The star’s curvy, cellulite-riddled physique was in stark contrast to the slender – and airbrushed – frame she showed off during a recent advertising campaign for US label Hanes.”

To me, she looks normal in the pictures with *gasp* cellulite and airbrushed to hell in the ads for clothes…

Maybe the black bandeau swimsuit top was not the best choice for her (halter may have worked better), but she looks fine to me.. Actually, bandeau tops don’t REALLY work for anyone in my opinion.. they just look like you’re trying to bandage your chest. It makes smaller chested women look flat, and bigger chested women look like they can’t even fit into a swimsuit top :\

She looks fine to me. Like a regular woman, with curves. Men don’t like super skinny women who look like skeletons.. they don’t have anything to hug and nothing to really hold on to, stroke and love (who wants to stroke bones?)

I think her body now is healthier and more fabulous than the picture of her before contrary to what popular opinion may be.

She isn’t fat, she’s curvy, and it looks like it’s her natural shape. Plus, she looks way happier…and if her fiance loves the way she looks and feels now, that’s all that should matter. All of North America and the world is not stroking her body at night, now are they? :P
