Millionster: I never considered Splenda in there... but it makes sense now :) I'm getting used to the taste of it, so I'm slowly adapting my tastebuds to reject iced tea and drinks that I normally would've gulped down without thinking (my tastebuds are WAY more sensitive now).

Tanya: OMG! I DO THAT :) I ask for No water, No foam, soy. It tastes creamier to me, and I get a Grande instead of a Venti...

I do that!
Also, and this is *not* helpful, have you ever tried the Chai Lattes made with no-water? I get mine no-water and with an extra pump of syrup now that I only get it as a treat, and it helps me have a smaller serving and *really* savor it.

I trick myself into drinking water by putting Splenda in it hehe -- though that was awhile ago -- I actually like drinking regular water now ^_^ Thanks for sharing your tip

Rae: AH HAH! Maybe that's why I started bleeding in the stores the other day... I hadn't had enough water.. *lightbulb*....It's a great habit for me, because everyone assumes it's water.. when it could be vodka *bwahahhah*...:P

Meg: I like that idea. I agree with you about pom juice... ugh, it was SO strong for me, and I almost choked when I first drank it. Watered down, it tasted great....

Ms. M&P: My body really is silly.. :P I do have to actually trick myself. It's.. sad but true. Husband can sit there and nurse a huge 5L bottle in an hour or so, and be happy as a clam, but me, that bottle could sit there for a week before I took a conscious drink of it.

Yes :) They give you a 10 cent discount if you use your own mug --- ask to be sure, but I know they do in Canada!!

lol! I've never heard of anyone actually tricking themselves into drinking water, but it's ingenious! I second Meg--I have some friends who hate water and they throw in some lemon juice or something else for flavor and voila! Yummy water!

I also have a pink starbucks travel mug and I didn't know they would give you discounts with it. Thanks!

I have a hard time drinking water in the morning because of the morning taste in my mouth (or then the minty freshness). Water's just too bland to start the day, so I've been adding a little bit of sweet tea. It only takes an ounce or less per glass, but it works great. There's hardly any calories and the itty bitty bit of caffeine is very welcome in the morning.

Sometimes instead I add lemonade or even pomegranate juice. I find pure pomegranate juice to be too strong - and expensive. Watered down, it's just right. Plus, it's healthy.

Yay for FB!

I couldn't stand water before, but about half a year ago, I started getting some pretty ugly nosebleeds, because I wasn't drinking enough of it. Now I do the same thing as you, and pick up my glass of water out of habit.

Also, yay for Starbucks!
