Just a suggestion. I've always been told/read that when it comes to pick a color for eyeliner you are supposed to take your eye color and figure out what it's opposite is in the color spectrum and use that as your eyeliner. For example, I have brown eyes and I use purple/plum eyeliner and it looks great. I used to wear brown but I've started to use purple and it actually looks more natural than the brown does. I've even had guys comment on my eyeliner and tell me my eyes look better and more natural when I use the purple. Weird, I know. Anyways, sometimes they look really bright in the tube or whatever but when you put it on it doesn't scream PURPLE, it's more subtle. I use bobby brown's Violet Ink gel eyeliner or a purple shadow from Bare Escentuals and dip an eyeliner brush in water and then in the shadow and then rub it around in the lid and line my eyes. bare escentuals eyeshadows will literally last you FOREVER because a little bit goes a LOOOONG way, there's a good tip for a frugal fashionista.

For blush, I use Nars which has a cult following, it's super natural looking. Orgasm seems to be the universal color but I have slightly olive skin so it doesn't show up on me. I use Torrid. Benetint is also awesome since it's liquid it doesn't leave a powdery look and it smells like roses.

Finally, I have been using Bare Escentuals for years but I was frustrated with BE's lack of portability. Plus, I was tired of my bathroom being covered with a beige dust from the BE foundation flying everywhere. I discovered Korres Wild Rose Compact Powder. Korres used to just do skin care products but now it has a limited selection of makeup. The compact powder is great, has buildable coverage, and looks really natural.
